READY FOR WORK

What I Can Help Set Up

The essentials needed to get a new small-business Windows computer and user working.

Windows Setup

Configure the new Windows computer and check important updates and everyday settings.

User Account

Help configure the appropriate Windows user account for the person using the computer.

Microsoft 365

Set up the user's existing Microsoft 365 account and appropriate Office applications.

Company Email

Configure the user's existing company email account in the appropriate application.

OneDrive

Configure the user's existing OneDrive access and appropriate file synchronisation.

Business Software

Help install and configure appropriate everyday business applications supplied by the business.

BUSINESS BASICS

Set Up With Security in Mind

A new business computer should be properly updated and protected before it becomes part of everyday work.

I'll check the basic Windows security position and help configure sensible account protection where appropriate.

Windows Updates

Check for appropriate Windows updates before the PC enters regular use.

Windows Security

Check the computer's basic Windows security status.

Account Protection

Review sensible sign-in protection for supported accounts.

MFA

Help configure multi-factor authentication where appropriate and supported.

Software Check

Check the agreed essential software is installed and ready.

Final Check

Check the main setup with you before the appointment finishes.

Business Credentials Stay With You

Don't send me employee passwords, Microsoft 365 passwords, PINs or authentication codes.

The business owner or authorised user enters credentials and multi-factor authentication codes themselves when required.

BEFORE WE START

Have Your Business Accounts Ready

The service works best when the business already has the accounts, licences and subscriptions the new user needs.

That might include an existing Microsoft 365 account, company email details and licences for any business software you want installed.

What's Not Included

Microsoft 365 licences, software licences, paid subscriptions and other third-party products are not included in the £125 service price.
